Today I woke up to the spontaneous storm, and it seemed to set my mood for the day. Later, I went into town to run some errands for tomorrow's portrait session, and ended up wandering around Magic Island by myself for sunset.
Just because I don't publicize the heartache doesn't mean it isn't always there. Today was pretty hard, even though we're almost done.
Today, I woke up late, but got Chelsea to the airport on time. Later, I hung out in the Kaimuki and Diamond Head areas for a while to see if my repaired camera would be coming back to Hawaii Photo Rental, but the FedEx truck didn't get there before closing so I'm renting a body through the holidays.
Today, I woke up at a semi-reasonable hour after falling asleep earlier than usual. Later, I had a job interview for potential contract photography work at Ala Moana, which seemed to go okay. I photographed the koi pond while waiting for the rain to let up so I could get back to my car. Stress continues to take a physical toll on my body, with today featuring constant queasiness and a bad cramp in my right hand.
Today, I did some more wedding planning after waking up this afternoon. Later, I met up with some friends whose engagement photos and wedding I'm shooting later this year. It's been raining all day long and I still don't own rainboots.
Today, I stayed awake well through the morning, and went to Waikiki with my roommate in search of traditional Japanese breakfast. Later, I woke up in the late afternoon to take my roommate to buy himself a car.
Today, I napped between 2:00am and 4:30am before waking up to chat about wedding logistics with him. Later, I slept until 11:30am, when a plumber came to take a look at our leaky shower. I spent the late afternoon photographing a friend's ceramics portfolio, though wind and rain kept creeping up on us as we attempted to use only natural light. It was a quiet Good Friday.
Today, I woke up earlier than usual because I'd fallen asleep early the night before, so I also didn't get to talk to him when he was done with work. Sadly, I've gotten myself sick, so after running some errands and picking up food, I spent the day relaxing for the first time in weeks.
