Today, I met up with Jonas and Marc to go check out the Punahou Carnival. Specifically aiming for the White Elephant tent, we spent the first hour waiting in line for that, but I ended up with a few awesome props for under $10 total, so it was worth it. Later, I went home and showered before going to Chinatown for First Friday, where I had some of my work on display at the Ong King Art Center.
Today, I got up and finished putting together my framed prints for First Friday, and worked on editing photos. Later, I drove to Chinatown and took some photos of the harbor at sunset before dropping of my framed work at Ong King.
Today I woke up to the spontaneous storm, and it seemed to set my mood for the day. Later, I went into town to run some errands for tomorrow's portrait session, and ended up wandering around Magic Island by myself for sunset.
Just because I don't publicize the heartache doesn't mean it isn't always there. Today was pretty hard, even though we're almost done.
Today, I went to get lunch with Jonas and his girlfriend at Super Pho on Waialae after walking around for a bit. Later, I picked up some baking things at Compleat Kitchen, and some art supplies at Hawaiian Graphics before coming home and feeling completely lazy while waiting for date night to happen.

Today, I got up early to go return my rented 5D Mark II body to Hawaii Photo Rental, and pick up my own 5D Mark II body that came back from being repaired at Canon. Later, I spent the day doing some shopping for new skincare products, in my never-ending quest to solve the issue of my terrible skin.
Today, I went with Aimee to pick up our friend's mom and get lunch before taking her to the airport. Later, I went to town and went to Social Security to get my name change fixed, as well as picked up my 50mm f1.4 at Canon, before coming home. I'm really, really tired...worried I might get sick...

Today, I ran errands at the Federal Building, and successfully submitted the forms I needed to get my passport and Social Security updated with my new name. Later, I bought a new pair of 'work shorts' (acceptable for photographing beach weddings) before heading home to do some work mixed in with relaxation. It was ridiculously hot today.
Today, I went with Sarah to get lunch at Cafe des Amis in Paia, where we had some delicious crepes. Lime and sugar for me, spinach/ham/ricotta for her. Later, we went to Longs (Loreal/Covergirl) and Macy*s (Benefit) to pick up makeup for me, a makeup-wearing novice, and came home to test it. One month until the wedding!
Today, I ran many errands, but couldn't pick up the park permit for the wedding due to it being Furlough Friday. Later, I stopped by the Wedding Ring Shop and picked out a new wedding band for myself that I'm much happier with.
Today, I was interviewd by a reporter from the Honolulu Advertiser about the wedding. Later, I worked on cleaning up my room, and successfully carted out two huge garbage bags worth of stuff. Feels good to get rid of what I don't need in my life.
