Today, I headed to Pearl Harbor early to pick up Hana before heading to the NEX for him and Cyrel to get haircuts, and getting food with Aimee and her friend. Later, we all went out to the Dole Plantation and did the maze, as well as go to Haleiwa for shave ice from Aoki's and dip our feet in the ocean for a little while. The day ended with dinner, wine, and hookah at Aimee and Cyrel's house before I took Hana back to his ship and came home.
Today, I slept in till nearly 2pm trying to get over this cold. Wellness Formula is doing a decent job of keeping it at bay. Later, after coming home from grocery shopping and doing a #HICraft session, I went to Pearl Harbor to pick up my old friend Hana who was just stationed on the USS Chung-Hoon, and we hung out for a little while at Aimee's. It ended up being a pretty awesome day. :)
Today, since I'd stayed up well through sunrise, I slept in until about 3:45pm. Still feeling sick, and tired despite all the sleep. Later, I quickly drove out to photograph the sunset with all the storm clouds for my daily, but missed the good color thanks to traffic, so I came home after just a few shots.
Today, I slept in pretty late, then got up to walk Koda and do some chores. Later, I went to town to get shoes for my vintage outfit at Goodwill, and then went to Yogurstory with Gabe for dinner. Today is my dad's 64th birthday!
Today, I woke up late before answering work emails and getting some chores done before going to Whole Foods for some groceries. Later, I went to Michelle's house for dinner with her, Phil, and Aubrey.
Today, I met up with Jonas and Marc to go check out the Punahou Carnival. Specifically aiming for the White Elephant tent, we spent the first hour waiting in line for that, but I ended up with a few awesome props for under $10 total, so it was worth it. Later, I went home and showered before going to Chinatown for First Friday, where I had some of my work on display at the Ong King Art Center.
Today, I got up early to drive out to Makapuu for a morning group maternity session featuring fellow photographer Joanna Tano and family. Later, I came home to work on editing photos, and decided to post this daily earlier than usual to get it out of the way. It was really great meeting a lot of local photographers I hadn't met before today!
Today, I got up and finished putting together my framed prints for First Friday, and worked on editing photos. Later, I drove to Chinatown and took some photos of the harbor at sunset before dropping of my framed work at Ong King.
Today, I was awakened a lot both by Koda and my community maintenance, so I didn't get to catch up on much sleep despite having a late night. Later, I went out to run errands, including stopping by the Neil Blaisdell park for a little exploring before coming home and finishing the editing for one wedding.
Today, I headed out to Magic Island for an engagement session shoot that also worked as an informal workshop for other photographers. Congratulations again to Renee and Reyes! Later, I went to the bridal expo with Helene before coming back to AMR for Aimee's housewarming party.
