Today, I got up early to drive out to Makapuu for a morning group maternity session featuring fellow photographer Joanna Tano and family. Later, I came home to work on editing photos, and decided to post this daily earlier than usual to get it out of the way. It was really great meeting a lot of local photographers I hadn't met before today!

Today, I spent some time prepping for the photo-shoot I had scheduled today. Later, I went to Kakaako to photograph Lauren and Junya's post-wedding portraits, with Jonas acting as my assistant. It was a lot of fun! I then went to Shirokiya and bought myself sushi and a bento, then La Palme D'or for a coffee jelly and chocolate cake to bring home as my reward for the day.

Today, I joined Aimee, Ivette, Sarah, Appi, and the babies for a girl's date day. First we went to Cream Pot for brunch, where service was horribly slow, though the food was delicious. Later, we walked around Waikiki and did a little bit of shopping before Aimee, Ivette, and Sarah left to take the babies home. Appi and I continued to wander around Waikiki for a little more shopping and spontaneous photo sessions.

Today, I headed out to Magic Island for an engagement session shoot that also worked as an informal workshop for other photographers. Congratulations again to Renee and Reyes! Later, I went to the bridal expo with Helene before coming back to AMR for Aimee's housewarming party.

Today, I finally let myself sleep in for the first time this Maui trip, since it was my 24th birthday. Later, I joined up with Mike Carino of Carino Studios to shoot a wedding all afternoon and evening at the Hui Noeau.

Today, Cameron and I went to Paia for crepes and coffee at Cafe Des Amis before walking around the town browsing the shops. I finally bought myself a pair of Havaiana slippers, and I love them! Later, we drove to Maalaea intending to do some beach photos, but upon finding it completely dirty from the storm flooding, we decided to go up to Olinda for an impromptu photoshoot in the forest.

Today, I woke up to a Skype call early in the morning, and we fell asleep together with it still running. Later, I woke up in time for 11:11am (on 1/11/11), before getting to work for the day. I then met up with Gabriel for dinner at Goma Tei, and we also went to check out Kissaten.

Today, I spent 12.5 hours covering George and Margaret's Waikiki wedding (with a midday Chinese tea ceremony in Salt Lake). Later, after I finally got home, I worked on uploading photos to the computer and made myself chocolate cookies to celebrate surviving.
