Today, I went back to Oahu and spent part of the day grocery shopping in the crowded last-minute New Year's Even hell of Don Quijote. Later, I met up with Ricky to do some long-exposure photography at Kakaako and watch some of the illegal aerial fireworks going off around Liliha before I went back to AMR to watch Aiea/Pearl City blow up with a fantastic midnight finale.

Today, I picked up my parents this morning and brought them back to my house before we walked to Aloha Stadium for the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. After leaving the lost game, we walked back home, and I took this photo kind of as a sarcastically emo Christmas photo, but then realized it kind of sums up my feelings about this Christmas after all, so I'm posting it in all its emo glory.

Today, Chelsea and I made our morning coffee with my new French press before hanging out for the day and then going grocery shopping. Later, we went to Aimee's house for dinner where we hung out late into the night, and I got some photos of Sophia by the tree.

Today, I woke up around noon since I'd been out so late the night before, and then worked on things like blogging the rest of Appi's holiday portrait session. Later, I cooked dinner and messed around with inventing a dessert that didn't work out too well, so I took a photo of my neighbor's kayaking Christmas penguin for my daily.

Today, I woke up late again, and did some work around the house. Later, I met up with Appi and Brent at Kakaako for a romantic holiday-themed photoshoot, assisted by Ricky and Gabriel.

Today, I woke up late since I'd been up late after the storm last night, reading 'The Road' in an hour and a half before finally falling asleep. Later, I did a lot of work, including making new bokeh filters for the holidays.

Today, I ran an errand to Pearl Harbor for my brother before packing up Christmas presents and going to the post office to send them to Afghanistan. Later, I came home and worked on photo editing late into the night.

Today, I got up late for the first time in a while, then did chores around the house in between working on photo edits. Later, I went out to run errands, including buying a tiny Christmas tree to decorate for Koda's Christmas photos later.
