Day 356 - February 4th, 2011

Today, I met up with Jonas and Marc to go check out the Punahou Carnival. Specifically aiming for the White Elephant tent, we spent the first hour waiting in line for that, but I ended up with a few awesome props for under $10 total, so it was worth it. Later, I went home and showered before going to Chinatown for First Friday, where I had some of my work on display at the Ong King Art Center.

Day 321 - December 31st, 2010

Today, I went back to Oahu and spent part of the day grocery shopping in the crowded last-minute New Year's Even hell of Don Quijote. Later, I met up with Ricky to do some long-exposure photography at Kakaako and watch some of the illegal aerial fireworks going off around Liliha before I went back to AMR to watch Aiea/Pearl City blow up with a fantastic midnight finale.

See my year in review here.

Day 312 - December 22nd, 2010

Today, I went to town with Chelsea and we did a little more shopping at Ala Moana, luckily before any power outtages. Later, I went to Hickam Air Force Base to photograph President Obama's arrival.  Unfortunately, since he arrived close to midnight it was extremely dark, and I had a difficult time photographing the situation, but I learned a lot and will be better prepared next time I'm shooting in the dark like this.

Day 286 - November 26th, 2010

Today, I woke up super early (4am!) to head to Ala Moana for Black Friday. However, the lines were pretty crazy, so I left after buying a few things at Guess, and did the rest of my shopping online. Later, I spent the afternoon and evening re-organizing my SmugMug gallery so it is easier to order prints of my work, just in time for the holidays.
