Today, I went to bed a little earlier than I have been after saying goodnight to him, so I woke up while it was still light outside. Later, I went with Gabe to get some spicy Korean soup because he's sick.  Yes, I take portraits of people while they're sick.

Also, today is our 4-month anniversary. <3

Today, I woke up early enough to catch him online before his bedtime, so we got to chat a bit, which is always the best way to start my day.  I'd gotten up early to join my father and great-aunt for a helicopter tour of Oahu, which was my first time in a helicopter on this island, though I've flown around Maui several times.  Later, I joined Appi for the Honolulu Festival at the Hawaiia Convention Center.  After we were done browsing the craft and culture booths, we went to Ala Moana and had a coffee/dessert date at the Honolulu Coffee Co.
