Today, my parents and I flew back to Oahu with Koda very early in the morning, and I took this photo out the plane window with my polarizer causing the rainbow effect. Later, we went to Gyotaku for a family dinner with my uncle and great-aunt as a belated birthday dinner.

Today, I got up super early to model in a photoshoot with Kaveh Kardan out on Waimanalo side. Later, I hung out at Hickam Air Force Base with the other media people before photographing President Obama and family's departure from Hawaii aboard Air Force One. I was very disappointed in my photographs.

Today, I went to Big Beach to meet up with Mika, Naomi, Bristol, and two of Mika's friends from Toronto. Later, we were going to have a photoshoot but postponed it due to extremely unattractive vog, so I came home and photographed Koda running around playing with my mom. She's missed the big yard.

Today, I slept in till noon since I stayed up having Christmas with him past midnight. Later, my mom and I baked cookies before we had a simple pre-cooked dinner and watched some movies. Koda loved her present of fancy dog food (Tuscan-style beef stew).

50 days till 365.

Today, I woke up late, but got Chelsea to the airport on time. Later, I hung out in the Kaimuki and Diamond Head areas for a while to see if my repaired camera would be coming back to Hawaii Photo Rental, but the FedEx truck didn't get there before closing so I'm renting a body through the holidays.

Today, I went to town with Chelsea and we did a little more shopping at Ala Moana, luckily before any power outtages. Later, I went to Hickam Air Force Base to photograph President Obama's arrival.  Unfortunately, since he arrived close to midnight it was extremely dark, and I had a difficult time photographing the situation, but I learned a lot and will be better prepared next time I'm shooting in the dark like this.

Today, Chelsea and I made our morning coffee with my new French press before hanging out for the day and then going grocery shopping. Later, we went to Aimee's house for dinner where we hung out late into the night, and I got some photos of Sophia by the tree.

Today, on this winter solstice, I got up early before going to pick up one of my oldest best friends, Chelsea, who is visiting me for a few days. Later, we went to Ala Moana despite the power outtages and went shopping before I came home to photograph the lunar eclipse during a lucky break in the clouds.

Today, I fought my way through the torrential downpour to return my lens to Hawaii Photo Rental, where I hung out with Josh and Austin until they closed. My 5D Mark II is also going on a trip to Canon for repairs, so it's just me and the 7D for now. Later, I came home and started working on my epic amount of laundry and cleaning the house. Still haven't been able to go get groceries.

Today, I woke up a little earlier and managed to get out of the house to go rent a lens even though my shoot for the weekend got postponed. Later, I had a client meeting and then was out all evening running errands and meeting people for dinner in Waikiki before coming home. Congratulations to all the graduates today!
