Hi everyone! Resurrecting this blog in the name of a new photo challenge. Now that Ed is home, we love spending time together doing photography, and I had this idea: How different would our photos be if we used the exact same equipment? Basically, the idea of this challenge is to get the following camera from Photojojo (mostly because it's cheap at $32 and good for photowalks because it's a wide-angle, but also because it is such a basic camera, completely manual), load it with the same kind of film, and then see what comes of it.  This makes it not about the gear, but about your 'voice' as a photographer.

I realize not everyone might be keen on spending money to do the photo challenge, but I figured it'd be the easiest way to make sure everyone is starting the same.  If you're on Oahu, we can even plan a photowalk tweetup. Comment here, or message me on Twitter or FB if you want to participate!

Today, I spent the morning doing last minute errands and prepping for dinner. Later, I went to Ft. Shafter and welcomed Ed home.

Today, I headed to Pearl Harbor early to pick up Hana before heading to the NEX for him and Cyrel to get haircuts, and getting food with Aimee and her friend. Later, we all went out to the Dole Plantation and did the maze, as well as go to Haleiwa for shave ice from Aoki's and dip our feet in the ocean for a little while. The day ended with dinner, wine, and hookah at Aimee and Cyrel's house before I took Hana back to his ship and came home.

Today, I slept in till nearly 2pm trying to get over this cold. Wellness Formula is doing a decent job of keeping it at bay. Later, after coming home from grocery shopping and doing a #HICraft session, I went to Pearl Harbor to pick up my old friend Hana who was just stationed on the USS Chung-Hoon, and we hung out for a little while at Aimee's. It ended up being a pretty awesome day. :)

Today, since I'd stayed up well through sunrise, I slept in until about 3:45pm. Still feeling sick, and tired despite all the sleep. Later, I quickly drove out to photograph the sunset with all the storm clouds for my daily, but missed the good color thanks to traffic, so I came home after just a few shots.

Today, I slept in pretty late, then got up to walk Koda and do some chores. Later, I went to town to get shoes for my vintage outfit at Goodwill, and then went to Yogurstory with Gabe for dinner. Today is my dad's 64th birthday!

Today, I woke up earlier than usual, but because I still felt like a cold was coming, I went to Vitamin World for more Wellness Formula. Later, I walked over to the skatepark side of our community with Michelle and Aubrey for some chalk and bubble fun!

Today, I woke up very late again, and went to the NEX for a few more groceries before coming home. Later, I worked on editing photos, but decided to go to bed early because I'm getting sick yet again. It wasn't until I'd already laid down I realized I forgot a daily today, so Koda was my last-minute subject as usual, even though she was ready for bed too.

Today, I woke up late after staying up to watch movies in bed. Later, I did a little grocery shopping at the NEX, and after getting caught in the rain, I came home to cook dinner and work on cleaning the house.

Today, even though I'd gone to bed at 4:30am, I woke up at 10:00am and immediately began preparing a salad to bring over to the Tramel's for the Superbowl. Later, after the game, I stayed to watch Glee before coming home to get some work done today.
